The Wine 11.15 development release is out for the Windows to Linux compatibility layer to help run more applications and games. At some point early next year we’ll see a Wine 12 stable release with all the work.
The what: Wine is one of the main bits of software that powers Valve’s incredible Proton (along with DXVK and VKD3D-Proton)! We had the release of Proton 11 back in July that upgraded to Wine 11.

- Support for ARM64EC build in Mingw mode.
- More format conversions in WindowsCodecs.
- Support for local NTLM authentication.
- Various bug fixes.
The developers noted 41 bug fixes including issues solved for Lemmings Revolution, Rise of Legends Demo, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Lockdown Demo, Adobe CS6, Final Fantasy XI Online, Mugen, Touhou 8, Final Burn Neo, Amnesia: Rebirth and various others.
