If you are tired of burning through expensive Palmar Pills or seeing the Game Over screen during difficult fights in Crimson Desert, you need to find the Tarivian Necklace. Hidden inside a lockbox located in a hourse in the city of Demeniss, this accessory is a great help during the game’s most intense enemy fights, as it provides a full-HP revive without consuming a single Palmar Pill.
Getting to Demeniss
The necklace is located in the city of Demeniss, which you will eventually reach as you play through the story.
However, you don’t need to wait to make some progress in the main quest, as the town can be reached from the start of the game.
If you do decide to take a trip to Demeniss ahead of time, you will need to be careful:
- There are numerous enemies both on the main roads and in the town.
- Stick to the wilderness and to the rooftops to avoid them, as they are mid-game enemies that can one-shot Kliff at the beginning of his journey.
Where to Find the Tarivian Necklace
Once you have reached Demeniss, look for the Abyss Nexus located in the southern part of town. To the east, you will notice a “half U” structure on the map. Get over there and look for a short staircase with a door at the top: this is the building where you can find the Tarvivian Necklace.
Once inside:

- Turn right, and head down into the lower level.
- Interact with the bookcase to reveal a hidden room with a lockbox.

- Complete the sequence puzzle to unlock it using the screenshot above
- Equip your Mask to steal the box containing the Tarivian Necklace
How Second Wind Works

The Tarivian Necklace features the Second Wind passive, which is a considerably stronger revive option than regular Palmar Pills
- Upon death, you are instantly resurrected with 100% HP.
- Unlike other item-based healing options, such as the aforementioned Palmar Pills and food like Grilled Meat, this cannot be spammed. Once you revive, the necklace enters a 30-minute cooldown, tracked by an icon above your health bar and to the right of your Spirit bar.
- As such, Second Wind works best against bosses, giving you a free revive that could help you deplete the last sliver of health without having to use items.
