After teasing its arrival in a post on X (formerly Twitter), an Xbox Wire blog post confirms that Cyberpunk 2077 will headline the new batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first wave of games joining Microsoft’s gaming subscription service for March 2026.
It’s the second CD Projekt RED title to arrive on the service within the last two weeks, after The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt arrived on February 19, 2026. However, just like The Witcher 3’s arrival, the catch here is that it’ll only be available to console players, so if you’re a PC player who subscribes to the PC-only variant of Xbox Game Pass, then you won’t be able to jump into Cyberpunk 2077 when it arrives next week on March 10, 2026.
Other notable entries in this first batch of March games include Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf, which is set to arrive on Game Pass when it launches later this week. The sequel to the 2023 picturesque platformer will launch on PC and Xbox later this week on March 5, 2026, and Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to hop into Lana’s new adventure right away.
If you want to check it out ahead of its arrival, there’s a demo currently available on Steam, which we also checked out as part of the first Steam Next Fest of 2026. It was one of the 12 demos we recommended players check out as part of the festival, and you can read our thoughts on it, along with the rest of the games we recommended, here.
Compared to previous batches of Game Pass games, this first wave of games for March is definitely on the smaller side. Out of the seven games listed, only five of them are actually new entries into the Game Pass library, with the others just being games that were already available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, now joining the library of games that Game Pass Premium subscribers get access to.
Essentially, if you’ve been paying for Game Pass Ultimate, then you kind of got screwed on two of this month’s entries. Here’s the full list of titles in the first wave of games headed to Xbox Game Pass for March 2026:
- to a T – March 4 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – was already available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, now available in Game Pass Premium
- EA Sports F1 25 – March 4 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
- Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf – March 5 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass
- Construction Simulator -March 10 – Cloud, Console, PC – Game Pass Premium and up, PC Game Pass
- Cyberpunk 2077 – March 10 – Cloud, Console – Game Pass Premium, Game Pass Ultimate
- Hollow Knight Silksong – March 12 – Cloud, Console, PC – was already available in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, now available in Game Pass Premium
- DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party – March 17 – Cloud, Xbox Series X/S, PC – Game Pass Premium and up, PC Game Pass
As is always the case, with new games entering the service, a batch of titles is also set to leave. Just to really exemplify how small this first wave of March 2026 games entering Game Pass is, if you don’t count to a T and Hollow Knight Silksong, both games that were already available to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, there are actually more games leaving Game Pass in this first wave than there are games entering the service.
Here’s the full list of titles leaving Xbox Game Pass as of March 15, 2026:
- Bratz Rhythm & Style
- Enter the Gungeon
- F1 23
- He is Coming
- Lightyear Frontier
- Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island
Hopefully, the next batch of games Xbox reveals will be a little more inspiring. Still, Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive RPG, so it’s nothing to scoff at if you’re an Xbox Series X/S player who has held off on checking out CD Projekt RED’s latest major release.
