Embark Studios’ upcoming PvPvE third-person sandbox extraction shooter ARC Raiders will host its second public playtest beginning at the end of this month on April 30 and ending on May 4, 2025.

The first public playtest for ARC Raiders was held last fall from October 24-27, and at the time, only PC players could participate. This next playtest will be far bigger, with players on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S now being brought into the fold.

If you want to join the playtest, PC players can head to the ARC Raiders Steam page to request access. Console players requesting to join for the first time on either their PS5 or Xbox Series X/S device can head to the ARC Raiders website to get their requests logged. And if you participated in the previous October playtest, you’ll automatically be granted access to this one. Just keep an eye on your email for the notice about the playtest.

“Over the past six months, we’ve worked hard to expand the core experience, based on community feedback,” executive producer on ARC Raiders Aleksander Grøndal said in a press release.

“This is our chance to see how those changes perform at scale. We’re especially eager to gather feedback on progression, the combat experience, cross-platform performance, and how the experience feels now that it’s more expansive and layered.“

Along with the tweaks and balances to gameplay, this playtest will also feature more of the weapons, tools, progression, and crafting systems that players can access throughout the game, making it the biggest showcase of ARC Raiders yet.
