If you like your simulation games fiery, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite offers a glimpse of its co-op gameplay for the first time at the Future Games Show’s Summer Showcase in a new trailer.
Our trailer begins with a shot of a home engulfed in flame as a crew of firefighters arrive to save the day, all the suitably hard-hitting music in the background to set the tone. Over the course of the teaser, we then see all the small details of firefighting that add up to a successful effort – attaching a hose to a fire hydrant before you can smother any flame, getting the right tools from the truck to gain entry into a burning building, and so on.
As the trailer rumbles on, we see a team try and balance extinguishing flame, avoiding falling debris, and guiding innocent bystanders to safety. Of course, as the end of the trailer teases, things can easily go wrong if you and the gang don’t balance that correctly.
“Experience the rush of firefighting in stunning visual quality in an intuitive and cooperative multiplayer mode with three friends or with the help of your NPC-controlled crew,” a blurb on Steam reads. “Battle raging and dynamic flames, heat, and smoke – all simulated in real time. Cutting-edge physics & graphics systems powered by Unreal Engine 5 let you experience firefighting immersion like never before.”
Developer Weltenbauer doesn’t have a release date to share just yet, but you can wishlist the game now on Steam ahead of its release on PC and consoles.
